Ravid Hoomash

Ravid Hoomash is a skilled professional in the field of plant-based meat alternatives, currently serving as a Plant-Based Steak R&D Team Member at Redefine Meat since February 2020, where responsibilities include the development and production of plant-based steak through ideation, research, lab trials, and scale-up. Previous roles at Redefine Meat include Innovation & Technology Intern, contributing to the engineering of plant-based tissues and co-authoring patents for innovative food technologies, and R&D Junior Integrator, focusing on 3D printing solutions for prototype steak production. Prior experience at the Israeli Navy involved serving as a Submarine Commander, gaining leadership skills through managing squad training and developing lesson plans, and as a Submarine Weapon System Operator, where effective performance under high-pressure situations was essential. Ravid Hoomash holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biotechnology and Aquaculture from Ruppin Academic Center, completed in 2023.
