Venky Shankar

Venky Shankar is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in distributed storage systems. Currently serving as CephFS PTL at Red Hat/IBM since October 2022, Venky has been involved with Red Hat Inc. as a Senior Software Developer since March 2011, focusing on the Ceph distributed storage system. Prior experience includes a role as a Developer at Yahoo! from June 2008 to March 2011 and a Software Developer position at HSBC Glt from July 2006 to June 2008. Venky holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from BVP, which was completed in 2006.
