Marco Mankerious

Marco Mankerious has over 20 years of work experience. Marco began their career as a Software Engineer and Database Designer at MOBICA. Marco then worked as a Technical Specialist at Clientsoft Technology and as a Technical Representative at Rational Software. Marco joined IBM as a Sr. IT Specialist in Application Lifecycle Management before moving on to iRise as a Senior Enterprise Solutions Manager. At iRise, they closed over $30 million in account revenue. Marco then worked as a Senior Sales Engineer at GoodData, where they were responsible for pre-sales strategy planning and technical fit qualification. Marco also worked at Microsoft as a Data & Artificial Intelligence Solutions Specialist and Solution Specialist in DevOps & Digital Transformation. Currently, they are employed at Redis, where they hold the roles of Principal Solution Architect and Senior Solution Architect.

Marco Mankerious obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they have acquired several certifications in various fields, such as Microsoft Azure administration and development, Java programming, Apache Spark, NoSQL development, sales process, Python for data science, and cloud computing. These certifications were obtained primarily from LinkedIn and Lynda.com.
