Ben Weinstein

Ben Weinstein has worked in the design and development field since 2006. Ben began their career as an Interactive Designer at HEILBrice, where they were responsible for design and print production of billboards, newspaper ads, bus ads, and collateral, as well as design and front-end development of ad units, splash pages, micro-sites, and landing pages. In 2008, they moved to MTV Networks as an Interactive Designer, designing site graphics, ad units, micro-sites, and emails, as well as doing front-end development of the projects they designed and conceptualizing and presenting custom ad campaigns to top sponsors. In 2009, they joined hi5 Networks as an Advertising Sales Designer, conceptualizing and presenting immersive homepage takeover experiences to top sponsors, animating and doing all front-end production work on ad campaigns, and redesigning the company logo and branding. In 2011, they became a Freelance Interactive Designer, designing consumer-facing websites and Ecommerce pages, collaborating with an SEO specialist to optimize WordPress sites, and doing PSD to HTML/WordPress web development. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Credit Karma as a Senior Designer, contributing core product designs for a site-wide redesign, participating in a complete corporate rebranding, and designing and animating ad units, emails, and social media pieces in HTML5 and AfterEffects. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Designer at Fauna Inc., and in 2021 they began working in the same role at Redpanda Data.

Ben Weinstein received their Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Long Beach, majoring in Art, Graphic Design, and Marketing.
