Nick Alexander has a long and varied work experience. Nick began their career in 2002 as a Cellist for Polaris String Quartet. In 2004, they founded and served as CEO of Nijiwango Studios Inc., a full service video production house. From 2006 to 2008, they held various roles at Trojan Vision Television, including Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist, and at the USC School of Cinematic Arts as a Student Liaison. In 2009, they worked as a Content Programming Specialist at Babelgum. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as an Independent Contractor and Co-Instructor at UCLA Extension. From 2011 to 2018, they worked at the Consortium for Educational Change, where they served as Director of Technology and Creative Technology Consultant. Nick then moved on to RedShelf, where they held the roles of Engineering Manager, Lead Engineer, and Senior Full Stack Developer.

Nick Alexander's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Cinema-Television Production from the University of Southern California from 2005 to 2009, and a High School Diploma from St. Charles North High School from 2001 to 2005. Nick also holds certifications from various institutions, including Scrum.org, Udemy, and others, obtained between 2017 and 2019.
