Erin Siegal McIntyre

Erin Siegal McIntyre is an accomplished investigative journalist and photographer with a diverse portfolio spanning multiple prominent media outlets, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and Al Jazeera America. Serving as a professor at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media and a faculty affiliate at the Institute for the Study of the Americas, Erin brings significant academic expertise to the field. As an author, Erin published "Finding Fernanda" through Beacon Press in 2012 and has contributed photographic works to Redux Pictures. Previous roles include senior media consultant at New American Economy, investigative multimedia producer at Univision Communications Inc., and contract photographer for the United Nations. Erin holds a M.S. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Photography from Parsons School of Design.
