Xyza Cruz Bacani

Xyza Cruz Bacani is a skilled author, photographer, and freelance contributor with a diverse range of experience in the arts and media. Currently an author at WE Press since December 2018 and a photographer for Redux Pictures, Bacani has also held roles as a freelance contributor for ChinaFile and as a brand ambassador for Fujifilm Philippines. Bacani's portfolio includes commissioned photography work for Ayala Land, Inc., and participation in a documentary project at Akkasah Centre of Photography NYU Abu Dhabi. Previously, Bacani was a stringer for Rappler Philippines and a human rights fellow at the Magnum Foundation. Bacani has also served as a workshop instructor at Manchester Craftsmen's Guild. Academically, Bacani holds a Master of Arts in Arts and Politics from New York University, earned in 2022.
