Andrew Thompson

Andrew Thompson is an Associate Chemical Engineer at Redwood Materials, having started in June 2024. Prior experience includes a mentorship role in K-12 outreach and recruitment at the University of Nevada, Reno, where Andrew presented on behalf of the College of Engineering, and served as an undergraduate researcher in the Barile Research Laboratory. Andrew also held leadership positions as Speaker of the Senate and Senator for the College of Engineering, advocating for students and facilitating communication between students and faculty. Previous internships at Redwood Materials focused on risk assessment and project adaptability. Andrew also gained management experience as an Assistant Manager at FLIPnOUT Xtreme, supervising a large team and addressing training needs. Andrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
