Conrad Murphy

Conrad Murphy is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in firmware and systems engineering. Currently serving as Director of Firmware and Systems Engineering at Redwood Materials since November 2024, Murphy previously held key positions at Form Energy and Lunar Energy, where a focus on controls and firmware development was prominent. Prior experience includes significant roles at Lyft as Staff Systems Engineer/Manager, overseeing vehicle architecture for electric bikes and scooters, and at Tesla Motors, contributing to the design and optimization of energy products like the Powerpack and Powerwall. Early career experiences encompass powertrain systems engineering at Mission Motors, trading at Susquehanna International Group, and an internship at Tesla Motors. Murphy holds a combined BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
