Mark Obrist

Mark Obrist has had a diverse range of work experiences. Mark worked as a Director of Specialty Products at The Redwood Group LLC, where they specialized in sourcing and supplying specialty crops globally. Prior to that, they were a Grain Merchandiser at Lansing Trade Group LLC, where they played a key role in merchandising physical commodities. Mark also had experience as an International Cancer Research Intern and Graduate Assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where they gained hands-on experience in cancer epidemiology research and manuscript writing. Mark began their career as an Assistant Scientist at Benchmark Biolabs, where they provided biological development services to clients worldwide.

Mark Obrist obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Iowa State University, which they attended from 2003 to 2007. Mark then pursued further education and earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
