Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta has a wealth of experience in the tech and finance industries. Amit began their career in 2013 as a Summer Research Fellow at the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), where they studied the role of fractals in predicting the stock market. In 2014, they worked as a Technology Consultant Intern at Deloitte, where they conducted HR analytics for a multinational cosmetics giant. In 2015, they held two positions simultaneously, as a Data Science Specialist at Pervazive Inc. and a Senior Data Scientist at Sulekha. At Pervazive, they built machine intelligence algorithms to predict network outages, while at Sulekha, they built an in-house chatbot and recommendation engine. In 2017, Amit took on the role of Lead Data Scientist at Collinson, where they held end-to-end ownership of key projects in loyalty and marketing use cases. That same year, they also became a Data Science Mentor at GreyAtom. In 2018, they were appointed Head of New Products and Strategic Initiatives at Bharti AXA General Insurance, where they managed the overall PNL and over $15MM+ in new products GWP. In 2020, Amit joined Cover Genius as Director of Partner Services and Analytics. Most recently, in 2022, Amit was appointed Global Head of Fintech at Reebelo.

Amit Gupta holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics & Scientific Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Amit also participated in a Visiting Young Researcher program at the Università degli Studi di Palermo in the field of Financial Mathematics. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Machine Learning, R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, and iTEP from Coursera Course Certificates and Boston Educational Services, respectively.
