A. Stuart Bruce has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. A. Stuart began their career in 1983 as an Assistant Ranch Manager at Seale Ranch. A. Stuart then moved on to various roles at Reece Supply Company, starting as a Will Call and Inside Sales representative from 1986 to 1988. A. Stuart worked at Bruce Aerospace Metals from 1988 to 1990, where they gained experience in sales, shipping, and billing in the high-temperature metal industry. From 1990 to 1993, they worked as a Route Salesman at Ben E. Keith. A. Stuart then returned to Reece Supply Company, where they worked as an Outside Salesman and Account Representative from 1993 to 2004. Stuart joined Transco Inc. in 2004 as a Regional Sales Manager until 2010. In 2010, they started their own venture, Bruce & Associates, where they served as an Independent Sales Representative representing several companies in the electric sign industry. A. Stuart also worked as the Sales Manager at Adaptive Micro Systems LLC from 2015 to 2016. Currently, Stuart has been serving as the Outside Sales and Cabinet Sales Director at Reece Supply Company since 2016, where they manage a territory, handles lighting specialist roles, and is responsible for territory growth and maintaining customer relations.

A. Stuart Bruce completed their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MA) degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. A. Stuart pursued this degree with a focus on the Production and Marketing of Agriculture Products, studying from 1983 to 1985. Prior to their postgraduate studies, Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Animal Science from the same institution. A. Stuart began their undergraduate education in 1980 and completed it in 1983, with an emphasis on Science and Marketing. Before entering university, they attended Tarleton State University from 1979 to 1980, where they studied Ag Business. Bruce laid the foundation for their academic journey at DeSoto High School between 1975 and 1979.
