Kjersten Bunker Whittington

Kjersten Bunker Whittington is a Professor of Sociology at Reed College, where tenure began in August 2007, following a progression to Associate Professor of Sociology. Kjersten also served as a Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the American Association for the Advancement of Science from August 2014 to August 2015. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology and a Master of Arts (MA) in Sociology, both awarded by Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Physics from North Carolina State University.
