Niel Swart

Niel Swart has extensive work experience in security and operations management roles. Niel started their career in 2007 as a PSD Team Member at EOD Technology and then joined Sallyport Global in 2008 in the same role. In 2010, they worked as a PSD Team 2IC / Medic at Stonehouse Security, Hart Security, and Janus Security Iraq, JSI. Niel also worked as a Close Protection Team Leader at Stonehouse Security in the same year. From 2010 to 2011, they served as a PSD Team Leader / Medic at Falcon Security, Iraq. In 2011, they became a Senior Team Leader / Medic at Erinys. Niel then joined Aegis in 2012 and worked as a Team Leader / Medic until 2016. In 2017, they joined Janus Global Operations LLC as a Team Leader / Medic. Niel is currently working at Reed Inc. as an Operations Manager / Site Security Manager since June 2019.

Niel Swart's education history includes several qualifications and certifications in various fields.

From 2018 to 2026, Niel attended Centec Security Training Academy, where they obtained a SAQA, NQF Level 5 Conduct Outcomes Based Assessments degree and a SAQA, NQF Level 6 Conduct Moderation of Outcomes Based Assessments degree.

During the same period, they also pursued training at Centec Security Training Academy in the field of Instruction (PSIRA) and obtained a Method of Instruction (PSIRA) degree.

In 2018 and 2025, Niel obtained a certification from the Professional Firearms Trainers Council, specializing in training.

In 2019 and 2021, Niel attended ITLS and became an Emergency Medical Technician, specializing in International Trauma Life Support.

Additionally, in 2019 and 2021, Niel completed advanced courses in Medical field, specifically Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the National Health Care Provider Solutions US.

In the same year, they also became a registered firearms instructor (Firearms Instructor US 123520 - 2019) from iHawu / ITA - International Training Academy.

Furthermore, Niel pursued training as an Emergency Medical Technician Advanced at the Australasian Registry Emergency Medical Technicians (AREMT) in 2019 and 2020.

Niel also acquired a Tutor / Instructor degree from the Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (MEA) from 2016 to 2020.

In 2013 and 2020, Niel attended the American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) and became an Authorized Instructor in the Medical field.

In 2014, they completed various certificates from OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training, specializing in Oil and Gas Safety Management, Oils and Gas Hazard Awareness, Well Site Completion and Servicing Safety, Oil Spill Clean Up, Well Site Preparation and Drilling Safety, and Confined Spaces Safety.

In 2012, Niel obtained a certificate in RESPIRATOR & H2S SAFETY, including H2S Awareness, Professional Rescuer CPR with AED and E, from the American Safety and Health Institute and RMSI Medical Solutions.

Lastly, in 2012, Niel received a certificate in Close Protection from TSU South Africa.
