Jonas Yppoliti has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Jonas began their career in 2005 as a DPA and Maintenance Fleet Manager at CEMEX, where they worked until 2009. Jonas then joined Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement as a Chief Engineer, a position they held for eight years. In 2017, they became Chief Engineer at REEDEREI NSB Niederelbe Schiffahrtsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG.
Jonas Yppoliti obtained a Master's degree in International Maritime Transport from Universidad Maritima del Caribe, where they were enrolled from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they pursued a Licentiate degree in Chief Engineering at the same institution for the academic year 2000 to 2001.
