Kathy Schrenk

Kathy Schrenk is an accomplished book author affiliated with Reedy Press, LLC and The Mountaineers Books since 2016, known for works such as "Best Hikes with Kids St. Louis" and "Katy Trail: A Guided Tour through History." With a diverse background in writing, Kathy has also been a freelance writer since 2003 and served as a reporter for notable publications including The Examiner and Bay Area News Group. Additionally, Kathy contributed as a Transportation Safety Consultant for Menlo Park City School District, focusing on promoting sustainable transport for students, and was a board member at Restore Hetch Hetchy, advocating for the restoration of the Hetch Hetchy Valley in Yosemite National Park. Kathy holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from North Central College, earned in 1997.
