Meryl McCurry

Head of Brand Strategy at Reef

Meryl McCurry has a diverse background in various industries and roles. Meryl started their career as an Administrative Intern at Atlanta City Council in 2013. In 2014, they served as a Studio Assistant at South of Hampton. From 2014 to 2015, Meryl worked as the Ropes Course Director at Westminster Schools Summer Camp. Meryl then interned as a Policy Intern at Southern Environmental Law Center in 2016. In 2017, they joined Duke University as an Outdoor Adventures Trip Leader and Shift Manager where they led experiential education trips and managed climbing wall operations.

In 2018, Meryl began their consulting career at Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant. Meryl advanced to Senior Associate Consultant in 2020 and worked in that capacity until 2021. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Consultant at the same company. Meryl'sresponsibilities included strategizing and executing growth opportunities, analyzing data, and presenting recommendations to senior leadership.

Currently, Meryl holds the position of Head of Brand Strategy at Reef since 2023. Meryl is responsible for developing and implementing brand strategies.

Meryl McCurry's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor's Degree from Duke University between 2014 and 2018. During their time at Duke, they studied Public Policy, Economics, and Energy and Environmental Studies. Additionally, in 2016, they attended the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen to study Sustainability Studies and Economics for a short duration. Before attending Duke University, Meryl attended The Westminster Schools from 2007 to 2014.

Furthermore, Meryl McCurry obtained a certification as a Wilderness First Responder in July 2015. The institution from which they obtained this certification is unknown.
