Recai Hasan Ikbal has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Recai Hasan began their career in 2003 as a Private Wealth Management Intern at Merrill Lynch. Recai Hasan then worked as a Financial Analyst at Quantitative Risk Management from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, they joined VerticalNet as a Strategic Sourcing Consultant. From 2007 to 2016, Recai worked at A.T. Kearney, where they held the role of Sr. Manager. During this time, they specialized in operational improvement initiatives, focusing on supply chain management and logistics optimization. In 2016, Recai co-developed and launched Duck & Waffle Local, the UK's first duck-centric fast-casual restaurant brand, where they served as the Restaurant Owner & Concept Leader until 2017. Since then, they have held multiple positions at REEF, starting as the Interim CEO of Kitchens in 2018 and later transitioning to become the Head of Procurement & Supply Chain. Recai Hasan also served as the Vice President of Business Development - Key Accounts and currently holds the position of Vice President - Source-to-Pay (S2P). In 2021, Recai briefly held the role of Head of Mobile Assets (Ghost Kitchens) at REEF. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in managing teams, developing strategies, and driving efficiencies.

Recai Hasan Ikbal pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University from 2000 to 2004. Recai Hasan also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the same university during the same period. In 2011 and 2012, they completed a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management from Cornell University. Before their university education, they attended Koc Ozel from 1997 to 2000, though no specific degree or field of study was mentioned.
