Edgar Sutawika

Edgar Sutawika has held several positions in the engineering field. In 2016, they were a Trainee at INSITEK. From 2017 to 2018, they were an On-the-job Mechanical Engineering Trainee at PT Len Industri (Persero), a Part-Time Research Assistant at Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), and an Undergraduate Research Mechanical Engineer at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they autonomously redesigned a robotic ankle prosthesis prototype with biomechanical energy regeneration abilities. In 2018, they became a Mechatronics Engineer at Robomarine, where they co-led a team to develop and field test submersible robotic devices. In 2020, they returned to Institut Teknologi Bandung as a Graduate Research Mechanical Engineer on the Biomechanics Research Team, where they autonomously engineered and assembled Rehab-Bot, an early-stage prototype of a home-based lower limb rehabilitation robot. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Mechanical Engineer at REEKON Tools.

Edgar Sutawika has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, which they obtained in 2022. Edgar also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, which they obtained in 2018. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) : Basics certification from Udemy in 2021, Augmented Reality 101 by PyImageSearch University Certification from PyImageSearch in 2021, Deep Learning 101 -- Neural Networks and Parameterized Learning from PyImageSearch in 2021, Deep Learning 103 -- Neural Network Fundamentals from PyImageSearch in 2021, OpenCV 102 \u2014 Basic Image Processing Operations from PyImageSearch in 2021, and an Autodesk Certified Professional: Inventor 2015 certification from Autodesk in 2016.
