James Direen

James Direen is a seasoned Rigging Artist at Reel FX, where responsibilities include production rigging and tools development since July 2010. Notable contributions include work on productions such as "Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas" and "Looney Tunes Shorts." Prior to Reel FX, James served as a Character Technical Director at Idol Minds, focusing on character rigging and pipeline development from December 2006 to October 2009, during which multiple-rig biped setup tools were created. James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts and Animation from The Art Institutes, earned between 2003 and 2006.
