Field Operations Manager- Testing at Reel Health

Randy Barillas has a diverse work experience. Randy started their career as a Combat Medic Specialist in the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division from March 2018 to September 2020. In this role, they provided emergency medical treatment, assisted with patient care, and developed health-oriented procedures and preventative medicine plans.

After their military service, Randy worked at Reel Health as a Health and Safety Supervisor for the film/entertainment industry from September 2020 to July 2021. Randy collaborated with Health and Safety Managers and Production Level Managers to combat Covid-19, developed Health Safety plans specific to the industry, and focused on reducing the risk of disease transmission.

In 2021, Randy joined Cherokee Federal as an Onsite Health and Safety Manager for the Emergency Intake Site (EIS) Team Hope. Randy was responsible for developing and implementing Operational and Occupational Health and Safety plans for the EIS, ensuring the well-being of staff and team members. Randy also conducted safety drills and provided overall health and safety support.

Returning to Reel Health in November 2021, Randy assumed the role of Field Operations Manager- Testing. Randy led the Contact Tracing team, implemented protocols based on health authorities' guidance, performed contact tracing data analysis, and coordinated testing requests for productions in the West Coast region.

Throughout their career, Randy has shown a commitment to health and safety, experience in managing testing programs, and expertise in developing plans and procedures to promote wellness and mitigate risks.

Randy Barillas attended Pacific Palisades Charter High School from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their High School Diploma. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including FEMA ICS-100, FEMA ICS-200, FEMA ICS-700, FEMA ICS-800, OSHA 30 GENERAL INDUSTRY, Covid-19 Contact Tracing from The Johns Hopkins University, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
