Edgar Villanueva

Edgar Villanueva has been working in the engineering field since 2013. Edgar started at American RENOLIT Corporation as a R&D Engineer, then moved to Global Energy Network Institute - GENI in the same year as a Research Associate where they learned to use the software Arc Map (GIS) and developed multi-layer maps that developed and updated the national power energy grids for GENI. Edgar also used their knowledge of web development to create a dataset catalog for GENI. In 2016, they joined MicroVention-Terumo as an R&D Engineer II and then R&D Engineer I. In 2019, they moved to Acutus Medical, Inc. as a Senior R&D Engineer and Mechanical Engineer II. Currently, they are employed at Reflow Medical as a Staff R&D Engineer and Senior R&D Engineer.

Edgar Villanueva graduated from UC San Diego in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
