Outhit Bouasaysy has a wealth of experience in the medical device industry. Starting in 2000, they were a Project Engineer at Specialty Silicone Fabricators (formerly ISP, a division of SSF), where they specialized in the development of new products and processes from concept to production. In 2004, they moved to Development Services of Avail Medical as a Process Development Engineer. In 2005, they became a Senior Engineer at EV3 Nuerovascular and in 2006, they were an Engineering Manager at Endologix. From 2008 to 2017, they were at Reshape Medical, where they were a Principal R&D Engineer responsible for R&D of the integrated dual silicone balloon system from incubator transfer through PMA approval and commercialization, as well as project leadership through design controls from concept generation to manufacturing transfer with a cross-functional team. In 2017, they began their current role as VP of Engineering and Sr. Director, R&D at Reflow Medical.
Outhit Bouasaysy completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine between 1995 and 2000. Outhit then obtained a Certification in Project Management from California State University, Fullerton in 2002.
