Andy Fleszar

Andy began his career in science at the University of Michigan, where he obtained a B.S.E. and a M.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering. After gaining valuable knowledge about the world’s healthcare organizations while working at Epic Systems, Andy followed his passion for engineering and the life sciences by completing a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. During his doctoral studies, Andy engineered novel in vitro systems to investigate cancer metastasis. Andy’s long-term goals are focused on translational medicine, where he will develop novel diagnostic tools and help bring therapeutics from the bench to bedside.
