Priscilla María has a diverse work experience background. Priscilla started their career as an intern at the Safe and Sound Campaign in 2011 and later interned at YWCA USA in 2013. Priscilla then worked as a Law Clerk at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in 2015, where they drafted legal documents and represented clients in disability and employment cases. Priscilla went on to work at the University of California, Irvine School of Law as an International Justice Clinical Intern, where they conducted research on human rights violations and attended conferences. Priscilla also served as a Veterans Clinical Intern, drafting discharge upgrade briefs, and a Domestic Violence Clinical Intern, providing representation to domestic violence survivors.

In 2018, Priscilla became a Freelance Mental Health and Legal Writer, creating SEO-driven articles and op-ed essays on mental health and law topics. Priscilla then worked as the Creative & Outreach Manager at Farzad & Ochoa Family Law Attorneys, LLP from 2020 to 2022. During this time, they managed creative projects and outreach initiatives.

In 2020, Priscilla joined The Confess Project as the Chief Impact & Strategy Officer. The Confess Project is a national grassroots organization focused on mental health for Black boys, men, and their families. Priscilla's role involved training barbers as mental health advocates and creating awareness through various media platforms.

Since 2019, Priscilla has also been involved with Cycle Breakers Club, where they serve as a Keynote Speaker, addressing topics related to generational trauma and mental health. Priscilla is a Certified Speaker for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), a host of Cycle Breakers Club Live, and a Speaker and Trainer for The Confess Project's nationwide Barber Coalition. Priscilla is also a member of Lean In Latina Speakers & Coaches.

Priscilla's most recent work experience is with Reframe, where they hold the role of a Thrive Coach. In this position, they support clients in their journey to reduce alcohol consumption and moderates community meetings.

Overall, Priscilla María has extensive experience in mental health, law, advocacy, and speaking engagements.

Priscilla María completed their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with a Dean's Merit Scholarship at UC Irvine from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Africana Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, which they attended from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Priscilla obtained a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach certification from Moving The Human Spirit (ICF Accredited) in March 2022 and a Certified Speaker certification from NAMI - National Alliance on Mental Illness in December 2019.
