EDI Community Outreach at REFUGE

Gema Camino demonstrates a strong commitment to social justice and community support through various roles in outreach and advisory capacities. Currently serving as EDI Community Outreach and Safe Accommodation Community Outreach at Refuge since July 2022, Gema also contributes as a Direct Services Support Worker at the Women's Aid Federation of England. Experience includes advising at the University of Bristol Law Clinic, focusing on social welfare, employment, and domestic violence issues. Additional positions held include Global Lounge Ambassador at the University of Bristol and a remote adviser at Citizens Advice, along with internships focused on human rights law at Leo Cussen Centre for Law and Clifford Chance.
