Alina Samko

Alina Samko is an experienced professional dedicated to emotional wellness and mental health, particularly for Ukrainian war refugees in Washington state through the Refugee Women’s Alliance, where Alina connects newcomers with crucial support services. As the founder of Empathy in Business, Alina offers workshops focused on emotional intelligence, effective communication, and conflict resolution. Alina's background also includes roles as a coach, therapist, mediator, and corporate mental health client manager, where Alina designed mental health programs and trained employees. With a strong foundation in public relations and communications from roles at UNDP Ukraine, Dragon Capital, and the National Democratic Institute, Alina holds multiple advanced degrees, including ongoing studies in Couples and Family Therapy at Seattle University.
