Paul Onimbo

Paul Onimbo is an experienced resettlement expert currently working at RefugePoint since August 2020, where responsibilities include conducting resettlement assessment interviews, preparing and updating resettlement referral forms, and providing resettlement counseling, in addition to engaging in internal and external reporting and statistical analysis. Prior to this role, Paul served as a Senior Officer in Resettlement at RefugePoint from December 2018 to June 2020, where expertise included child protection and collaboration with partners. Earlier career experience includes positions at Refugee Consortium of Kenya, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and County Government of Nairobi, focusing on legal representation, individual case management, and legal research. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of South Wales and a Post-Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Mysore.
