David Shang

David Shang is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment banking, equity research, and trading. Currently serving as an Analyst at Regal Funds Management since 2021, David previously held the position of Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan from 2018 to 2021. Additional experience includes a role in trading at Akuna Capital for a brief period in 2017, as well as serving as an Academic Tutor in Finance at The University of Sydney Business School during 2016-2017. David began a career in finance as an Equity Research Analyst at Peak Investment Partners from 2014 to 2015. Academic qualifications include studies at the University of Sydney, Lund University School of Economics and Management, and Tsinghua University, complemented by a foundational education at North Sydney Boys High.
