Akshay Jain

Akshay Jain has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Business Development Representative at Regal.io. Prior to this, they worked as an Assistant Curator at Darat al Funun from April 2020 to July 2022. Akshay also served as a Manager - Client Relations at DAG from August 2018 to August 2019. Akshay had a brief stint at Christie's in the Chairman's Office from January 2018 to August 2018. Before that, they worked as a Gallery Assistant at Aicon Gallery from August 2017 to December 2017. Akshay's career began as an Editorial Intern at The Culture Trip, where they wrote articles on cultural topics, edited content, and scouted for writing talent from June 2015 to August 2015. Akshay also worked as a Research Associate at UTMB for a brief period in June 2014.

Akshay Jain obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film Studies and Art History from Cornell University between 2013 and 2017. Akshay then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Modern and Contemporary Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies at Columbia University from 2019 to 2021.
