Senne van Steelandt

Senne Van Steelandt is a Senior Data & ML Engineer at Regard, responsible for building the company's future data platform since October 2024. Prior to this, Senne served as a Staff Data Scientist and Staff Data Engineer at ThalamusGME, focusing on the enhancement of product features through generative machine learning and leading the production transition of the data platform. Experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Haslam College of Business involved contributions to machine learning and data analytics research, while freelance work as a Data Engineer was undertaken during the PhD studies. Earlier roles included a Data Engineer at sympl and an internship at Seal Jobs, where technical specifications for a KPI dashboard were developed. Senne holds a PhD in Management Science from the University of Tennessee, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering from Ghent University.
