Paul Hegarty

Paul Hegarty is a Senior Development Engineer at the University of California since October 2002, providing engineering support for the NEES@UCSB seismic research program, with skills encompassing embedded design, web development, networking, mechanical design, database management, data analysis, and system administration. Prior experience includes roles as H/W Design Engineer at Turnstone Systems from 1998 to 2001, Design Engineer at Netvantage from 1997 to 1998, and Design Engineer at Themis Computer from 1996 to 1997. Additionally, Paul served as Director of Test Engineering at Manufactures' Services (MSL) from 1995 to 1996 and worked as Principal Design Engineer at Digital Equipment Corp from 1987 to 1993. Paul Hegarty earned a B.Eng in Electronic Design from Dublin City University in 1987.
