Pccss Genetra Benjamin

Genetra Benjamin, B.A. PCCSS, has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving as a Community Support Specialist at Region 8 Mental Health since March 2015. In this role, Genetra is responsible for collecting and analyzing data on individuals to determine needed services and ensure appropriate referrals, in addition to providing direct services and participating in staff meetings. Previously, Genetra worked as a Medical Receptionist, handling various administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and client communication, as well as performing duties as an AOP Secretary. Genetra's career began at Walmart as a Sales Associate, where responsibilities included stocking shelves and assisting customers. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Belhaven University, an Associate of Science in Healthcare Data Management from Southwest Mississippi Community College, and an Associate of Science in General Office Occupations and Clerical Services from Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
