Tom Birch Hansen

Tom Birch Hansen is an experienced Environmental Engineer currently working at Central Denmark Region - Region Midtjylland since 2007, focusing on contaminated site survey and clean-ups, as well as soil and groundwater investigations. Prior to this role, Tom served at Århus Amt, Natur og Miljø from 2001 to 2006, where responsibilities included conducting contaminated site surveys, air surveys, and managing database conversions. Additionally, Tom worked as an Industry Advisor at the Australian Greenhouse Office in Canberra from 2002 to 2003, providing technical guidance to mining and electricity companies on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and successfully extending the industry-database with key performance indicators. Tom holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, earned between 1994 and 2000.
