Anu Planken

Anu Planken is a highly experienced medical oncologist and researcher with a robust background in both clinical practice and translational research. Currently serving as a Medical Oncologist at North-Estonian Medical Centre and as a Senior Researcher at the University of Tartu, Anu Planken has also held the position of Medical Director at Icosagen Group since 2019. Previous roles include founding SynoBio, a biotechnology company focused on veterinary genetic testing, and managing clinical research projects at the Competence Centre for Cancer Research. Anu Planken's educational background includes a Doctor of Medical Science (PhD) in Neurobiology from the University of Helsinki and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Tartu.
