Dan Clevenger

Dan Clevenger currently serves as the Director and Associate General Counsel at Regional Finance (Regional Management Corp.) since October 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Administrative Officer (Legal and Compliance) at 1st Franklin Financial Corporation from January 2024 to 2025, where responsibilities encompassed compliance, federal and regulatory oversight, and strategic planning. From February 2015 to December 2023, Dan was the Chief Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel at 1st Franklin Financial, leading a large compliance team and possessing extensive knowledge of federal and state regulatory frameworks. Earlier roles include General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Millennium Capital and Recovery Corp., where a Compliance Management System was established, and fifteen years in private practice at Day Ketterer Ltd., focusing on civil litigation and serving as outside General Counsel. Dan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from The University of Akron and a law degree from the University of Akron School of Law.
