Christopher Jackson is an experienced medical professional currently serving as the Primary Care Section Editor and Contributing Editor for The Human Diagnosis Project since March 2019. In addition to these roles, Christopher holds multiple positions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine, including Associate Professor of Medicine, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, and former Assistant Professor of Medicine. Since August 2019, Christopher has also been the Senior Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine Residency at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, alongside roles as Associate Program Director and Assistant Program Director of Ambulatory Education. Practicing as a Primary Care Physician at Regional One Health and an Attending Physician at Christ Community Health Services Memphis since July 2017, Christopher served as Chief Resident of Quality and Safety at Veterans Affairs Medical Center from June 2018 to June 2019. Christopher completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Sociology from Emory University.
