Alan Cavagnaro

Alan Cavagnaro currently serves as a Campaign Coordinator at DesegregateCT, focusing on special projects, research coordination, and advocacy to advance policy initiatives. As an elected Commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of South Windsor, Alan enhances regulatory transparency and promotes affordable housing and smart growth principles. Prior experience includes roles as an Organizer for Ned For CT, Chair and Treasurer for Future Leaders in Politics, and internships with the Connecticut Housing Committee and Connecticut General Assembly. Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Urban and Community Studies from the University of Connecticut and is pursuing a Fast-track Program at the UConn School of Public Policy.
