Samille S Almeida

Samille Soares has a diverse work experience in the field of design. In 2014, they worked as a Researcher for the 3rd Bahia Biennial, where they collected and synthesized data to assist mediators in the art installation spaces. From 2019 to 2022, Samille volunteered as a student at the LabExpressa Community Extension project coordinated by Professor Renata Kalid at the Universidade Salvador. In 2022, they joined Inquest Information Services as a UX Designer, working as a freelancer to recommend improvements for the company's internal dashboard. At the Instituto Vila Internacional, Samille worked as a UX Designer from April 2022 to January 2023. Samille then joined Lacrei as a UI Designer in April 2022 and worked until March 2023. Currently, they are an Associate Product Designer at Rei do Pitaco, actively involved in the development and maintenance of the Design System and participating in user studies and end-to-end feature development.

Samille Soares started their education journey by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communication from the Universidade Salvador, which took place from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the Universidade Federal da Bahia, from 2012 to 2014.

In terms of professional training, Samille completed a Professional Training in UX/UI Design from Cubos Academy in 2021. Samille also attended a Professional Training in UX Design at Design Circuit from 2021 to 2022. Furthermore, they obtained a Professional Training in UX Design from CESAR School in 2022.

Samille has supplemented their education with various certifications. Samille completed the "Participante do Hackathon ProviHack do Agora" from Provi in May 2022. Additionally, they completed the "FAST: Formação Acelerada em Soluções TechDesign" certification from CESAR School in April 2022. In December 2021, they obtained the "Introdução à Psicologia Cognitiva Aplicada ao UX Design" certification from Udemy. Moreover, they participated in the "Hackathon do Programa de Formação Season 2 FCamara" organized by Grupo FCamara in September 2021. Samille also participated in the "Participante Provi Hack4Good" program offered by Provi in July 2021. In May 2021, Samille obtained a certification in Design UX/UI from Cubos Academy. In March 2021, they completed the "Como Desenvolver sua Inteligência Emocional" certification on LinkedIn. Lastly, in January 2020, they obtained a certification in "Sistemas de Identidade Visual" from Brandster | Branding School.
