Amanda Szabo

Amanda Szabo is a seasoned professional in material development with over a decade of experience in the textile industry. Currently serving as a Senior Material Developer at REI since May 2019, Amanda previously held various roles at Brooks Running from September 2013 to May 2019, including Material Developer II, Material Developer I, and Trim Developer. Prior experience includes positions at Eddie Bauer as an Associate Fabric Developer - Wovens and Assistant Fabric Developer - Wovens from September 2009 to September 2013, along with a temporary role as Assistant Colorist. Amanda's expertise encompasses developing and sourcing woven fabrics, collaborating with mills, managing fabric quality assurance, and maintaining fabric libraries. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology, specializing in Textiles and Clothing, from The Ohio State University.
