Doug Boate

Doug Boate is currently working as a Retail Sales Specialist at REI since January 2021. Prior to this role, Doug had an extensive career at ExxonMobil spanning from September 2001 to November 2020, where Doug held various titles such as Quality System Manager, Global Base Stocks Technical Advisor, Refining Technical Advisor-Basestocks, and Global Basestocks Refining Advisor. Doug also worked at ExxonMobil Research & Engineering from May 1998 to August 2001 as the Section Head of Lube Process and Basestocks Section R&D. Doug holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a HBSc in Chemistry from Western University.
