Savannah Carnes

Associate at Reichman Jorgensen

Savannah Carnes is a trial lawyer at Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP. Her practice focuses on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, and trade secret disputes. Savannah leverages her legal and scientific backgrounds to distill complex technical concepts into clear and concise ideas that resonate with judges and juries.

Savannah’s interest in trial work began in Texas, when she clerked for one of the busiest judges in the country, the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant, III, at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. She spent a quarter of her clerkship at trial, working on matters ranging from patent infringement to political corruption. She also clerked for the Honorable Richard G. Taranto, at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

As an undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, Savannah studied molecular cellular biology. Her technical background helped her after graduation, as a legal assistant managing the litigation docket for the then-busiest trademark firm in the country and piqued her interest in pursuing law. She received her J.D. from Berkeley School of Law with a cybersecurity scholarship.

During law school, Savannah was a leader on the California Law Review, Berkeley Technology Law Journal, Moot Court team, and First-Generation Professionals club. She received the highest grades in her courses on Evidence and Trial Advocacy.
