Israel Tilk has worked in the software engineering industry since 2000. In that time, they have held a variety of roles. From 2000 to 2012, they worked at Convergys as a Sr. Analyst Systems. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Lead Analyst at Luxottica Group. From 2013 to 2015, they were a Java Developer at iHeartMedia. From 2015 to 2018, they held two roles at Pinnacle Solutions Group, as a Principal Consultant and Staff Consultant. Since 2018, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Guaranteed Rate, and since 2021 they have been a Sr. Software Engineer at Reify Health.

Israel Tilk obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from St. Joseph's College (IN) between 1996 and 2000.
