Gloria Castillo

Gloria Castillo is a highly experienced analytical development and quality control professional with over 25 years in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as a Técnico Sénior de Desarrollo analítico at Reig Jofre since April 2016, responsibilities include the development, optimization, prevalidation, and validation of analytical methods for raw materials and finished products using techniques such as UHPLC, GC, and KF, along with drafting various validation protocols and reports. Prior to this role, Gloria worked at Farmaprojects in several capacities, including Quality Control Specialist and Analytical Development Specialist, where key tasks revolved around stability studies and method validation. Earlier experience includes working at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as a laboratory analyst, where technical skills in instrumental methods were honed. Gloria holds a Postgraduate degree in Validation, Qualification, and Calibration in the Pharmaceutical Industry from Universitat de Barcelona and a Technical Chemical Engineering degree from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
