Francisco Sobrino

Francisco Sobrino has a strong background in technology and engineering. Francisco is currently serving as the Sr. Director of Engineering and Head of Applications at Moody's Analytics CRE. Francisco previously held the position of Director of Engineering at the same company.

Prior to their role at Moody's Analytics, Sobrino worked as a VP of Technology at realxdata – a Moody's Analytics company. Francisco played a key role in technology management and development during their time there.

Before joining Moody's Analytics, Sobrino worked as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Payment Innovation Hub. Francisco led various research and development projects focused on innovative payment solutions. Their responsibilities included designing and defining project architectures, managing development resources, and collaborating with multiple suppliers and stakeholders.

Sobrino also gained experience as a Micro Services & Big Data Architect at UserZoom. Francisco contributed to the development of next-generation analytics applications and assisted in transitioning from monolithic systems to a micro-services architecture.

In addition, Sobrino worked at ADman Media as a Project Leader and Full-Stack Engineer. Francisco coordinated the development of incoming projects, implemented new technology stacks for web projects, and developed a new tracking system.

Early in their career, Sobrino served as a Software Engineer at Trileuco Solutions. Francisco focused on research and development projects and specialized in building systems from scratch while adhering to best practices.

Francisco Sobrino completed a Master's degree in IT Project Management from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade da Coruña in 2013. In addition to their formal education, Francisco also holds certifications, including the Management 3.0 Foundation Workshop from Management 3.0 Foundation, which they obtained in January 2019, and the AutoCAD 2011 Certified Associate certification from Autodesk, which they obtained in October 2011.
