Ira Levy, MBA, CPA, CA

Ira Levy is an MBA, CPA, and CA with over 17 years of experience in finance and accounting. Ira is the Co-Founder of Cipher Financial Professional Corporation, interim CFO for Avivagen Inc, and CFO for Reklaim. Previously, they were the Corporate Controller for VIVO Cannabis Inc., the Senior Vice President of Finance for Province Brands, and the Controller for Apleona GVA Inc and Mark Anthony Group. Prior to that, Levy worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for IKO Industries and Manager of External Financial Reporting for Universal Music Canada. Levy began their career as a Senior Accountant at KPMG, where they were responsible for enterprise-level audit engagements in both public and private organizations. Throughout their career, Levy has demonstrated expertise in accounting, treasury, audit, tax reporting, and financial analysis.

Ira Levy holds an MBA degree in Accounting and Strategy from Schulich School of Business at York University, which they acquired between 2003 and 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Marketing from the same institution between 1996 and 2000. Before their undergraduate degree, they obtained their high school diploma from Westdale Secondary School in 1996. Ira also attended HSC for middle school between 1984 and 1992. Ira went on to graduate from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants with a CPA, CA degree between 2004 and 2007.
