Tolga Ozbakan

Tolga Ozbakan is a Research Scientist at RelationalAI since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Infor from 2017 to 2021 as a Senior Data Scientist and Business Intelligence Analyst. In this role, they developed and tuned machine-learning features for predictive demand models, automated generation of business intelligence reports, and designed and implemented dashboards, reports, and KPIs for exploratory data analysis. Before joining Infor, Tolga worked at Izmir University of Economics as a Lecturer and Researcher from 2009 to 2016, where they re-structured and coordinated courses in project design and management and conducted research on housing markets using computational models. Tolga also worked at Brickstream as a Software Developer from 2001 to 2004 and at Retek as a Software Analyst from 1998 to 2001, where they developed and implemented forecasting and data-mining applications.

Tolga Ozbakan began their education journey in 1995 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree. Tolga completed their master's program in 1998. Following this, from 2010 to 2016, Tolga attended the Izmir Institute of Technology, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. However, the specific field of study for both their MS and PhD is not provided. Currently, from 2021 to 2023, Tolga is enrolled in a Post-Baccalaureate program at Oregon State University, focusing on the field of Computer Science.
