Andrew Pollard

Andrew Pollard has a diverse work experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Andrew has worked as a Senior Aerospace Engineer at Relative Dynamics Inc. since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked at ASRC Federal as a Spacecraft Flight Software Operations Engineer from August 2017 to September 2018. From March 2015 to August 2017, they worked at NOAA as a (Senior) Physical Science Technician, where they supported the operations of the GOES-16 weather satellite and contributed to training and certification efforts. Before that, they worked at Airbus Group as a Project Manager from June 2011 to June 2012, where they managed deliverables and implemented risk management practices. Andrew also coordinated efforts for a Memorandum of Understanding between multiple companies for unmanned air system research. Andrew's earlier experience includes roles at Naval Air Systems Command, where they provided engineering support for international business and secured helicopter sales to the Royal Australian Navy. At JHU Applied Physics Laboratory, they conducted systems engineering research and was involved in the preliminary design of a lunar lander sensor assembly. Overall, Andrew has a strong background in aerospace engineering and has contributed to various projects and programs throughout their career.

Andrew Pollard has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech. Andrew also pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, which they completed from 2008 to 2011. In addition, Andrew attended Capitol Technology University in 2015 and studied Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering, though they did not obtain a degree from there.

In 2019 and 2020, Andrew enrolled at the Royal University of Phom Penh's Institute of Foreign Languages to study Khmer/Cambodian Language and Literature, but it is unclear if they completed a degree in that field.

Furthermore, Andrew obtained a certification in "Machine Learning, Modeling, and Simulation: Engineering Problem-Solving in the Age of AI" from MIT xPRO in December 2020.
