José Moreira

José Moreira has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. José is currently working as a Spacecraft Guidance, Navigation, & Control (GN&C) Engineer at Relative Dynamics Inc. since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at HX5, LLC as a Senior Spacecraft Systems Engineer from February 2016 to July 2022. From November 2012 to July 2015, José worked at Booz Allen Hamilton/ARES Corporation as an Orion Spacecraft Systems Engineer. José also has experience as a Test Engineer at FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, Inc. from August 2011 to October 2012. José's career in the field started at Booz Allen Hamilton in November 2004, where they served as the HTV Rendezvous & Proximity Operations Integration Lead, primarily working with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) on their H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) project until August 2011.

José Moreira attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2015 to 2021, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Aerospace Engineering Sciences with a specialization in Astrodynamics and Satellite Navigation. Prior to that, they studied at Rice University from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
