Mick Williams

Mick Williams has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security and IT management. Mick is currently working as an Information Security and Governance Manager at Relative Insight since October 2022. Prior to that, from December 2019 to September 2022, they were the Group Information Security Manager at Places for People. Mick also served as the Director Compliance and Infrastructure at Intelligent Datalytics from August 2018 to December 2019, and as a GDPR Practitioner from December 2017 to August 2018 while looking for a new position.

Before that, Mick held the position of Group Information Systems Manager at INTEGRAL UK HOLDINGS LIMITED from June 2006 to November 2017, where they managed IT operations and a team of 12 staff. Additionally, they were an IT Manager at Ungerer Limited from March 2002 to June 2006, responsible for IT strategy, budget management, and service delivery. Mick worked as a Technical Architect at MANCHESTER AIRPORT PLC from April 2001 to March 2002 and as an Infrastructure Manager at Air 2000 Ltd from September 1997 to April 2001.

Mick's earlier experience includes the role of Network Support Manager at STORA Publication Paper UK Limited from February 1995 to September 1997. Lastly, they served as a Technical Support Manager at UCM Ltd from April 1991 to February 1995.

Mick Williams attended Brighton College of Technology from 1983 to 1986, where they obtained a B/TEC Diploma in Applied Science. Additionally, in February 2018, they earned a Completion Certificate from The Knowledge Academy, followed by another Completion Certificate from the same institution in January 2018. Mick'smost recent certification is the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA, which they achieved in May 2021.
